RN MS/Tele (Ortho) - Night Shift

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend requirement and a total of 6 weekend shifts.

Job Description: This position requires an experienced RN to provide care in an orthopedic spine unit specializing in various spinal surgeries. The RN will ensure comprehensive patient care, including pain management, physical therapy, and mobility support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients post-operative from spinal surgeries.
• Manage comprehensive care routines, including pain management and physical therapy.
• Perform special procedures such as bedside lumbar puncture and post-surgical care.
• Support patient mobility and engage with interdisciplinary teams for enhanced care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit.
• Must have orthopedic experience.
• Active South Carolina or multistate RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• 1 year of EPIC charting experience mandatory.
