Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with vascular, circulatory, and related medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, anticoagulants, and other prescribed treatments
• Monitor patients before and after vascular procedures and interventions
• Assess vascular access sites and identify potential complications
• Collaborate with physicians, vascular specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards

Requirements

• Active RN License in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in Vascular Medicine, Telemetry, PCU, Med Surg, or Acute Care settings
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Knowledge of vascular conditions, anticoagulation therapy, and post-procedural care preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
