Diesel Truck Technician
We are currently seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and reliable professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive or equipment repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles or machinery while upholding high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of vehicles or equipment
- Perform general repairs including but not limited to clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, AC, oil changes, bolt on components, and replace transmissions
- Tag all warranty parts and returns, take photos
- Document all work performed clearly and accurately
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies
- Take part in ongoing training and development programs
- Make minor welding repairs
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a technician (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred)
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (e.g., shop or garage setting)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
