Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position within a Same Day Surgery program, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and active NH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 34-bed PACU unit within a Same Day Surgery program
• Services include gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery
• Phase one recovery patient ratio of 1:2
• 40-hour work week with varying day shifts: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Two manager references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative recovery care
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
