Part-Time Faculty PositionSouth Georgia State College's School of Business and Professional Studies is seeking applications for part-time faculty to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) program.Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate success in some or all of these areas: service to the College, academic achievement, professional growth and development, and course assessment. Teaching assignments may be assigned to any SGSC campus, off-campus, day, evenings, week-ends, or on-line.Responsibilities include meeting class schedules, providing syllabi, staying current in the teaching discipline, submitting correct proof rosters and grades, recording daily attendance, submitting assessment data, being available for office hours and meetings, and performing other duties as assigned.Required qualifications include the completion of a master's degree plus 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline, demonstrated excellence in teaching, technology skills, and good interpersonal skills.Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate Degree in the field of Marketing, Business Administration, Financial Literacy, Accounting, Leadership, Management, Organizational Management/Behavior, etc. and three years teaching experience.Required documents to attach include a reference letter, transcripts, and a list of references.Abilities include engaging students in higher order learning, communicating effectively in written and oral forms, aligning instruction with student learning outcomes, adhering to institutional policies and procedures, and mastery of the teaching discipline.For more information or questions about the job posting and technical support, please contact OneUSG Connect Support at View phone number on click.appcast.io, or by email at View email address on click.appcast.io University System of Georgia is comprised of our 26 institutions of higher education and learning, as well the System Office.
