Department Department: Service Location Location: Norris Ford, Dundalk, MD Description Maryland State Inspector/MSI. Fantastic opportunity for a Maryland State Inspector to join our growing team at Norris Ford in Dundalk, MD. Use your vehicle maintenance expertise and excellent customer service skills to excel in this position. You will perform Maryland state inspections on cars and light duty trucks. Compensation & Schedule $35/hr+ flat rate (based on experience) Monday - Friday with a rotating Saturday schedule Benefits Industry leading benefits...Medical, dental, vision, disability, life and supplemental insurance offerings on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment 401k with company contribution Paid time off (5 days after 90 days of employment) Company paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement program Employee referral bonus program Essential Functions Provide Maryland state certified inspections, accurately & efficiently Repair issues with vehicles in order to pass inspections, communicate with Service Manager Ability to work independently and document into CDK Drive vehicle to verify information from the inspection Maintain safe and clean work area All other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required At least 3 years recent (within the last 6 months) of inspection experience Valid driver's license Certified Maryland State Inspector Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently Excellent customer service skills Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
