Delta Workforce is hiring a 3rd shift process technician for a plastic mold facility in Portage.

**3rd Shift role - Training on 1st shift for 2 weeks**

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for machine start-ups
  
• Work with injection molding machines and secondary equipment on tooling issues to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  
• Ensure machines are running at optimum efficiency
  
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material problems
  
• Report to Manager any difficulties or problems requiring special attention
  
• Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification and Tool Reports as required
  
• Responsible for die change activities
  

• Prior experience in Plastic Injection Molding, including mold changes, hydraulics, and electrical
  
• Education to support mold set-ups and troubleshooting
  
• Computer skills, including machine control
  
• Skills to perform process parameters of all presses operating during scheduled shift
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
