About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Tax Transformation, Data, and Technology. The successful candidate will be a key member of the corporate tax team, responsible for driving the strategy, design, and delivery of innovative tax technology and data capabilities. This high-visibility role involves modernizing the tax operating model through scalable systems, data transparency, and automation, all within a highly regulated financial services environment. The Executive Director will lead the tax transformation team, evaluate and implement tax data and technology solutions, and oversee initiatives to improve data quality and transparency. Close partnership with corporate tax, finance, and enterprise technology is essential to ensure the delivery of sustainable and compliant processes. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of corporate tax experience, with at least 3 years' in a management or leadership role. Desired qualifications include experience in technology, tax transformation, and finance systems, as well as a strong understanding of corporate tax processes and data requirements. The role requires the ability to influence stakeholders, manage relationships with external vendors, and establish governance and controls in line with regulatory expectations. A background in the financial services industry, familiarity with U.S. GAAP, and a professional certification such as a CPA or MST are preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience in commercial tax software platforms, data analytics, and be conversant in generative AI capabilities for tax functions.
