Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to make a significant impact on students’ lives for the upcoming school year. We're seeking a motivated, state of Illinois licensed OT for a full-time contract supporting elementary and middle grade students across two sites. Each day, you’ll work at one location, ensuring you can focus on delivering quality therapy with no midday travel. While the majority of your time will support general education and resource classrooms, you'll also collaborate with some self-contained special education environments, offering diverse professional experiences.
Ideal candidates combine strong clinical skills with the adaptability needed for a dynamic school environment. Experience working in schools or pediatric settings is highly valued, as is familiarity with sensory integration techniques and documenting goal progress. Both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time applicants are welcome to apply, allowing flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license (active and in good standing)
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Proficiency addressing sensory needs and writing progress notes for school-aged children
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Role Details:
- Contract, W-2 employee, weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday
- Onsite across two campuses (one location per day, no inter-campus travel during school hours)
- Support students in general education/resource and self-contained special education classrooms
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and interdisciplinary teams
- Create and maintain treatment plans aligned with school goals
