Opportunity: Independent Diagnostic Radiology Physician practicing independently with MedCBO’s administrative and operational support. Job Description Overview Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business support. This is not an employed physician position. Physician Responsibilities Provide patient care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation (EHR, telehealth, clinical workflow) Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination Supply chain and vendor coordination Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions preventing independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice; outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions.
