Assembler I (Large Truck)

Assembler IFull-time position on 1st shift. Hiring bonus $500.00 for new hires after 90 days. New starting wage of $18.00/hr.Must be willing and able to work full-time, overtime and Saturdays as scheduled.Summary:The general assembly process may require the employee to work at any station during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to rotate to different workstations, or they may be required to work in a specific workstation depending on experience, training and skill level to perform work tasks.Position Expectations:Locate, learn, and understand assembly instructions from procedures, drawings and standard work instructions.Verifies and inspects work according to standard work.Perform quality checks and tests.Use power, pneumatic, Smart torque and hand tools, where applicable.Adhere to work and safety rules.Good verbal communicationSupports and demonstrates a well-organized, safe, and clean workplace.Understands, accepts, and supports the company's vision and key business goals.Basic understanding, support, and commitment to the team and continuous improvement by getting involved and actively contributing ideas for improvement.Resolves problems at the lowest level possible.Identifies possible solutions when communicating problems.Lives the Values: Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Innovation, and Courage and demonstrates the Trane Technologies Leadership Principals at all times.Understands, supports and demonstrates the importance of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Cooperates actively with the company to raise EHS standards for yourself and your coworkers.Responsive to internal and external customer needs by understanding your customer needs and establishing a measurement surrounding those needs.Detail oriented, organized, ability to manage multiple tasksAbility to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitudeMust have the ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environmentEducation Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferredCertification (if applicable):Leak CheckNail GunAssembler I Criteria:Must score a minimum of 13 on the Employees Performance Review (PMP).Must score 8/8 on item # 7 on the Standard Work Audit for the audit performed at the 6-month mark.Complete 4 Safety Fixes per year.Complete 4 to 7 Process Improvements per year. (JDI, 9SPS, RIE)Complete 4 to 7 Quality Activities per year. (Quality poka yoke, or JDI that leads to improvement of DPPM, First Pass Yield, 9SPS or RPN)Successfully completes ¾ of Harvey Ball with 3 – 15 minutes of Manual Cycle Time.Employee Training Record signed off complete.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
