Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a long-term acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.
• Experience in a long-term acute care setting is preferred.
