Food Service Worker

Scheduled weekly hours: 16

10:00AM-2:00PM under general supervision and within established hospital and departmental policies and procedures prepares, portions and serves food to patients, employees and customers and performs related sanitation duties.

Required skills/qualifications/training/experience:

• Professional appearance, presentation and grooming
• Positive interpersonal dynamic
• Command of verbal and written English
• Ability to lift, push, pull without restriction
• Able to use proper body mechanics
• Able to be flexible with work hours

Preferred skills/qualifications/training/experience:

• Prior food service experience

Educational requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Age specific criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.

Ability to meet job performance expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Salary range: $16.63-$24.99

Salary range details: The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
