Quality Control Analyst

Job Title
Responsibilities
- Sample receiving, logging, and storage
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) testing of in-process and release samples by performing a variety of methods both molecular and microbiological in nature
- Anaerobic bacterial culture and maintenance
- DNA and RNA purification from microbial culture
- Sanger sequencing
- Flow cytometry
- Perform method and instrument suitability, qualification, and validation, as necessary
- Author and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in training of QC team members
- Perform operation and maintenance of specialized equipment
- Ensure general laboratory and equipment cleanliness
- Communicate clearly with QC team and manager
- Document and relay results accurately
- Maintain clear, organized, and thorough record-keeping and data entry
- Meet GMP and GLP requirements and principles
- Complete paperwork and associated documentation in compliance with GMP guidelines
- Initiate and/or author out-of-specification reports, deviations, and change controls, as required
