Key Responsibilities of the RN MedSurg/ER

• Provide total patient care, including IV, EKG, med pass, and glucose checks
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 as established by facility guidelines

Requirements of the RN MedSurg/ER

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg and ER nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to chart using CPSI
• Ability to wear scrubs in any color
