Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a night shift position consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 PM to 7 AM. On-call duties are required, including coverage every other weekend and holidays as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and skilled care in a Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Manage and monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and perform nursing procedures.
• Educate and support families regarding birth plans, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the care of patients.
• Participate in the unit's quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is strongly preferred.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions permitted for medical or religious reasons.
• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
