RF Design Engineer

Accentuate Staffing is working with a company that is hiring an RF Design Engineer to join their team. This organization develops advanced secure communications and electronic warfare technologies that support mission-critical national security applications. The role will play a key part in leading RF system design efforts and contributing to next-generation solutions that enhance resilient and secure communications. This role is based on-site in a hybrid capacity at the Huntsville, AL office. Compensation begins at $160k+ and is determined by experience, with the flexibility for qualified candidates to pursue compensation aligned with their expertise. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in RF communications, software-defined radios, and electronic warfare systems, with the ability to design, test, and validate solutions that directly impact defense operations. Responsibilities Lead RF communications and electronic warfare system design, including architecture, implementation, and validation. Develop and implement advanced signal processing algorithms in embedded environments. Conduct modeling and simulation of RF systems, analyzing system performance under various conditions. Support hardware-in-the-loop testing and mission-based scenario evaluations. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders and government partners. Qualifications Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 10+ years of experience in RF communications and electronic warfare systems, including design, simulation, and implementation. Proficiency with software-defined radio frameworks such as GNURadio, REDHAWK, or similar. Strong background in embedded C/C++ programming and digital signal processing.
