Breakfast Attendant

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Early morning availability required Typical schedule between 6:00am – 11:00am Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of the complimentary breakfast service at The Sage. This position plays a key role in guest satisfaction by ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming breakfast experience. The Breakfast Attendant delivers friendly, attentive service while maintaining food quality, safety, and sanitation standards consistent with hotel policies and brand expectations. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, maintain, and break down the breakfast area according to hotel standards Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and presentation at all times Communicate effectively with management and Front Desk regarding guest needs or issues SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Set up the breakfast area prior to service, including food stations, beverages, utensils, and seating areas Stock, replenish, and monitor breakfast items throughout service to ensure availability and freshness Break down breakfast area after service and prepare space for daily operations Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to breakfast service Adhere to all food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout service Properly store, label, rotate, and dispose of food items using FIFO practices Maintain cleanliness of counters, tables, floors, equipment, and back-of-house areas Greet guests in a courteous, welcoming manner and assist with breakfast-related questions Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns Act as a brand ambassador for The Sage by delivering approachable, value-driven service Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and paper goods Communicate shortages, waste, or supply needs to management Coordinate with Front Desk and management regarding guest flow or special needs OPTIMUM ATTRIBUTES Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and presentation Reliable, punctual, and organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to maintain composure during high-volume service periods #J-18808-Ljbffr ADP, Inc.
