• Experience: Proven experience in inpatient malignant medical oncology and hematology consults
• Patients per Day: 20-25
• Support Staff: 1 APP on weekdays, 1 APP on weekends to assist with rounding
• Hospital Privileges: United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, Mercy Hospital

What You'll Do:

• Lead the hospital’s medical oncology team, supervising Advanced Practice Providers
• Manage inpatient oncology patients, including malignant and benign cases
• Handle all new consults for oncology and hematology
• Provide specialty procedures as needed
• Oversee inpatient and outpatient documentation (same-day for inpatient and outpatient; maximum of 3 days)
• Coordinate with support staff and hospitalists to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in overnight on-call duties from home, responding solely to oncology-specific calls
• Support surgical and medical teams with specialty expertise

What You Need:
Required:

• Minnesota medical license or IMLC certification
• Board Certification in Oncology and Hematology
• Experience with inpatient malignant oncology and hematology consults
• Comfort with leading a team and managing inpatient/outpatient care

Preferred:

• Privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, or Mercy Hospital
• Experience supervising APPs
• Familiarity with hospital protocols in Minneapolis
