Full-Time 1st Shift Forklift & Cherry Picker Operator Positions

Kelly Services is hiring experienced Forklift/Cherry Picker Operators for a distribution center in Saint Rose, LA .

This role is 1st shift and supports warehouse operations by moving, sorting, and preparing materials for shipment.

Details:

Shift Time:

• 1st shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Pay Rate: $17/hour  
• Weekly Pay: Full-time: Contract to hire

Location: Saint Rose, LA                                                                 Benefits:  Weekly pay, Temp-to-Hire, Employee Discounts, Medical/Dental/Vision plans and much more!

Job Duties:

• Load and unload pallets/cases using forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
• Use RF scanners or voice pick systems to scan and count inventory
• Move products to correct locations in the warehouse
• Build and load pallets for shipping
• Operate forklifts, and cherry pickers up to 35 feet high
• Wear a safety harness and follow all safety rules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift, cherry picker operation experience required 
• Distribution-center experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Available to work overtime
