Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

This role involves assembling containers used for shipping goods in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. You will perform basic but highly physical and repetitive assembly tasks that support efficient packing and shipment of products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containers used for shipping goods according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform basic assembly tasks that are repetitive and require consistent attention to detail.
• Lift and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more throughout the shift.
• Carry out duties that involve frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and other physical movements.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and packing goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

Essential Skills

• Strong work ethic and reliability in a production environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Strong English comprehension skills to understand instructions and safety information.
• Comfort working in a general labor, packing, or production setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor, packing, or production is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

Work Environment

You will work in a beautiful, new facility alongside a collaborative team. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the potential to leave earlier on Fridays. The environment is production-oriented and physically demanding, with frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Auburn, ME.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
