Speech Language Pathologist in Arlington, MA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a long-term substitute Speech-Language Pathologist from August 31st through December 23rd. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:50 am to 2:30 pm, allowing you to work a school-based schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children. Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure for practicing SLP in the local school system Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on caseload in accordance with their IEPs Conduct speech/language assessments and evaluations as needed Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and related service providers to support student success Develop, update, and document progress on IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate records and timely reports in compliance with school and state guidelines This assignment is a fantastic fit for professionals seeking continuity in a supportive school environment for the fall semester.
