Accounts Receivable Specialist

Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team at Society, an EWG company. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work directly with brand clients and focus on billing and collections. Responsibilities: Prepare, issue, and send out invoices and statements Address client billing queries and discrepancies, and coordinate with the relevant departments to resolve them Maintain up-to-date client records and billing systems Follow up on overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and formal letters Negotiate payment plans and schedules with clients when necessary Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging, and escalate collection issues as needed Work with the accounting team to process transactions and prepare reports Collaborate with team members to expedite the billing process Stay updated with industry best practices, new trends, and regulatory changes Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in a billing role, preferably in the fashion or entertainment industry Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., ERP) Netsuite is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Professional discretion, as the role involves handling sensitive financial information Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Retail Apparel and Fashion Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Elite World Group by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Get notified when a new job is posted.
