Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in building event-driven microservice solutions across distributed systems, with familiarity in Drone Platform integrations , Azure Cloud , Data Engineering , Databricks , and MLOps . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing an enterprise-grade drone operations platform that integrates Drone-in-a-Box providers to support mission planning, semi-autonomous flight operations, data analytics, and AI-driven insights. Software integration experience across diverse APIs and providers is crucial for a successful candidate.

This role combines full-stack application development using Angular, .NET, SQL Server, EventGrid, and Azure , with modern data engineering and machine learning operations capabilities leveraging Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and MLOps best practices .

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the team to design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and client-side web applications
• Work with business users to understand the core problem being solved and continuously integrate feedback into the solution
• Learn about Chevron drone operations in different facilities

Drone Platform Integration

• Design and develop integrations with Skydio or other Drone Platform and associated APIs.
• Build capabilities for:
  • Automated mission creation and scheduling
  • Flight plan management
  • Fleet administration and monitoring
  • Autonomous inspection workflows
  • Media and telemetry data retrieval
  • Drone asset management
• Create applications that orchestrate drone operations from a custom platform outside the native Skydio interface.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API management for drone services.
• Integrate drone-generated data with analytics and reporting systems.

Full Stack Application Development

• Develop enterprise applications using:

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience.
• 3+ years of Azure Cloud development experience.
• 3+ years of Databricks and Data Engineering experience.
