Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing essential physical therapy services across multiple school sites. You’ll support K-12 students, collaborating with educators and families to ensure each child has the opportunity to thrive. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment, where your expertise is valued and your dedication directly influences student achievement. Flexibility and collaboration are key as you travel between schools and tailor your approach to meet each student’s needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable with itinerant work across several sites
- Excellent communication, case management, and organizational skills
- Confidence in providing direct services, assessments, and evaluations (PTs)
- Ability to deliver direct treatment services (PTAs)
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, provide direct intervention, and handle ongoing case management (PTs)
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student goals
- Travel to multiple school locations as needed
- Ensure detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans for optimal student progress
