Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centric care and support services under routine or emergent conditions across a variety of care settings including acute inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic/urgent care environments
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize specialized radiologic equipment and techniques to perform a diverse range of diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems, enter technical findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain competencies and support continuous improvement in patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a cardiovascular specialty, OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in radiologic technology
• Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification — certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire date
• AHA BLS certification required
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, follow instructions, and report to work consistently and dependably as scheduled
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes
• Ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information and demonstrate sound judgment in all situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology relevant to MRI or cardiovascular/radiologic technology
• Experience applying primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data
