Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Dundee, KS, United States. Start date: 11/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Travel - temporary assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Night shifts, 12 hours (3x12). Weekly pay range: $2,444–$2,578. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. This assignment requires L&D expertise with ongoing credentialing and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients, including fetal monitoring and newborn care as assigned
- Administer medications, assist with deliveries under physician/CNM supervision, and respond to obstetric emergencies following established protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC) and support continuity of care through thorough handoffs
- Collaborate with the obstetric team (physicians, CNMs, and support staff) to plan and implement patient care and education
- Be willing to float to medical-surgical units and care for pediatric patients as needed; adapt to unit demands while maintaining safety and quality
- Adhere to facility policies and participate in credentialing, orientation, and on-call scheduling requirements

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- L&D experience: 2 years required; 3+ years preferred; rural hospital experience a plus
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications; must have completed a fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months; must commit to obtaining PALS prior to start
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to float to medical-surgical units and to care for pediatric patients as needed
- Credentials due 1 week prior to start; orientation conducted virtually on Mondays
