This role combines clinical assisting, imaging, infection control, and patient education in a fast-paced family dental practice. Title Dental assistant Job Description Assist dentists during exams and procedures using four‑handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms; Take, process and maintain dental radiographs and other clinical images in compliance with safety and HIPAA standards. Maintain accurate patient records and charts in the electronic dental record (experience with Dentrix is a plus). Educate patients on oral hygiene, post‑treatment care, and preventive practices. Adhere to aseptic technique and infection prevention protocols, including sterilization and disinfection procedures. Perform basic administrative tasks related to patient charts and appointment management. Salary Range full-time $21 - $26 per hour - Shift & Schedule Monday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) General Dentistry Infection Control License Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting. Working knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and common dental procedures (general dentistry focus). Competence in four‑handed dentistry and chairside assisting. Demonstrated infection control and sterilization practice knowledge. Ability to take dental radiographs; Prior experience with pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management software. Experience with 3D scanners or advanced imaging workflows. 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
