Band Teacher / Woodwind Specialist

Band Teacher We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Band Teacher to join our music faculty. The ideal candidate has a strong background in woodwind performance and instruction , with flute as the primary instrument preferred , and is passionate about inspiring students of different ages and skill levels. Responsibilities Teach beginning and intermediate band classes and/or private lessons. Provide high-quality instruction in woodwind instruments, with an emphasis on flute. Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for concerts, recitals, and other performances. Develop engaging lesson plans that build musicianship, technique, and ensemble skills. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with fellow music instructors and communicate effectively with students and parents. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Strong performance background in woodwind instruments; flute major preferred . Previous teaching experience with school bands, youth ensembles, or private lessons. Ability to teach students with varying levels of experience.
