Financial Analyst/Financial AccountantLocation: Tallahassee, FL 32399 (100% Onsite from Day 1) Duration: 3 Months Contract (With a possible extension)Assist Bureau grant managers and Admin and Management Costs Managers with grant closeout activities as directedReconcile expenditures, quarterly reports, and insurance reviewsAnalyze and compare data for accuracy and completenessCreating form letters and other correspondence related to disaster closeoutsScanning and uploading documents into appropriate systems as directed, ensuring all records are maintained and relevant correspondence are recorded in the State's grant management systemArchive files according to established procedures and timelinesPerform final inspections and validation for project closeoutAssemble grant closeout packets for submission to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)Copying, scanning, and filing as neededServe as the liaison between the Sub-recipient and the Division, providing technical, fiscal, and grant management assistance to Sub-recipients related to the receipt and use of federal and state emergency management funding awarded by the DivisionPerform other duties as assignedRequired: Demonstrated computer software skills, including Word, Excel, and other database/spreadsheet software, including but not limited to PowerPoint.
