Dock Leader

• *Overview**

We are seeking a reliable and motivated **Distribution Dock Lead (DDL)** to provide first-line leadership to a team of distribution employees. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within designated areas, including unloading, picking/putaway, loading, storage, and more. The DDL ensures productivity, accuracy, safety, and service excellence while training and supporting team members. This position works closely with facility leadership and participates in a personal development plan to strengthen leadership skills and support tasks assigned by the Distribution Operations Manager. The DDL will also serve as backup for the Operations Manager as needed. **Key Responsibilities**

• Lead daily operational activities in assigned warehouse areas.
• Assign tasks to distribution associates to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support the Distribution Operations Manager in meeting SQDC targets.
• Monitor trailer and product flow to maintain operational efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks, set priorities, and develop alternative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety standards and guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
• Maintain Facility Leadership Boards and support other leadership tasks.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to team members.
• Foster a safe, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
• Serve as backup for the Operations Manager when required.

• Capable of extremely heavy lifting throughout the shift (up to 100 lbs) and working inside trailers.

**Education & Experience**

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
