Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance ImagingAmerican TravelerAlton, Illinois, United StatesPosition ID: P-776251Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 16Openings: 1$2,787.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a community hospital setting, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and MO or compact state licensure.DetailsCommunity hospital outpatient, inpatient, and ER/Trauma MRI unit with 2 roomsPatient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsDaily caseload of 22 patients per tech4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday 6:30 AM-5:00 PMOn-call required every 5th weekend, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM-1:00 PMMay float within scope to meet facility needsRequirementsMinimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience requiredARRT (MR) certification and BLS requiredIEMA certification requiredMO state license or compact license required (license required if applicable; IL license must be in hand at time of submission)Community hospital experience preferredExperience with IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration preferredMRI procedure experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging preferredExperience with image post-processing, T1-weighted, and T2-weighted imaging preferredExperience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings preferredAdditional InformationFirst-time travelers accepted for this roleCandidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facilityRTO limited to no more than 7 days per contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week of orientationPermanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any affiliated facility as a travelerStandard travelers may stay for an 18-month period before requiring a 3-month break in serviceBlack scrubs requiredNo cost for parking
