Job Description
Title
Operating Room / Perioperative RN - Scrub and/or Circulate

Schedule
- On-call shifts:
- Weekdays: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Weekends/holidays: either 7:00 pm - 7:00 am or 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Assignment Details
- Volume: ~20 cases per day; ~10 rooms/beds

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years perioperative/OR RN experience required
- Active compact nursing license
- Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred
- Robotics experience
- Skill in procedure/conscious sedation monitoring
- Experience with administration of blood & blood products
- Vascular access skills: PICC/central lines, Port-A-Cath access/care
- Preferred scrub skills in orthopedics, ENT, robotics, trauma, vascular

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub surgical cases as assigned
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide preoperative and postoperative care
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Manage surgical instruments and maintain a sterile environment

Compliance / Notes
- Pre-start requirements:
- 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Completion of required modules pre-start (average ~16 hours)
