Customer Service Representative

Martin Environmental Services is looking for a goal oriented, customer focused Customer Service Representative to provide support to our customers. Responsibilities Receive incoming calls and/or messages from customers and assist each customer from beginning to solution. Communicate effectively and clearly. Serve as customer advocate by solving problems and engaging the appropriate departments and people within the organization as needed. Utilize the authorized system to gather information, provide information, and update customer records. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co‑workers, and management. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills. Computer skills – navigation, MS Office, typing, multi‑screen system. Professional and polite phone etiquette. Ability to multi‑task. Ability to react well under pressure. Focuses on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting. Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly and appropriately to meet company standards. High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of prior work experience handling customer service via telephone. Qualifications Legally eligible to work in the United States. Must successfully complete pre‑employment testing. Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and training. Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Work Environment Office environment. Prolonged sitting and repetitive motions while answering phone and working on computer.
