Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

Overview VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Medical Lab Tech to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital lab experience Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Graduate of an accredited Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technician program ASCP or AMT certification preferred (required at some facilities) Current, valid, and active driver’s license required Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a lab tech in the state of employment required Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required; AHA may be preferred and may be required by some clients Additional Qualifications/Skills Proficient in sample collection, testing, and analysis across various departments (chemistry, hematology, etc.) Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS) Strong attention to accuracy and detail Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Free from illegal drug use and alcohol in the workplace Responsibilities Conduct laboratory testing and analysis across assigned departments Perform sample collection and preparation with accuracy and attention to detail Operate and maintain laboratory information systems (LIS) as required Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work independently as needed Travel Program Benefits Work with 1 recruiter from start to finish for each assignment Local and non-local positions available Competitive hourly rate in addition to tax-free stipend (if applicable) No pay cuts mid-contract Referral bonus up to $1,000 per referral License reimbursement for travel to a new state requiring a new license Your pick of assignments at partner facilities across the country Location Statesboro, GA 30458 Certifications, Vaccinations, and Benefits Vibra follows federal and state vaccination requirements and disease screening where applicable.
