Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing standardized assessments and observation strategies.
• Create individualized treatment plans addressing both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that target communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and physicians, together crafting cohesive care strategies.
• Provide educational support for patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical settings.
• Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.
• Keep detailed and timely records in accordance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in your field through ongoing education and peer networking.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet achieved.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
