Quality Control Inspector

A Quality Control Inspector will ensure products meet manufacturer, Client, and Industry standards by examining materials and finished goods for defects. They monitor warehouse processes, use precision measuring tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges) and document test results, accepting or rejecting material by using industry standards and procedures to maintain quality and safety.


Inspection & Testing:


Perform visual and physical inspections of raw materials and finished products.

Measurement:

Utilizing tools like calipers, gauges, and micrometer to verify specification compliance.

Documentation:

Record inspection data including quantities, grades and any defects that may be present in the material.

Reporting and Compliance:

Report and maintain an open communication with warehouse leadership and Sales personnel to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Process Improvement:

Help with process improvement by reviewing and recommending adjustments to warehouse and inspection processes.

Communication:

Ability to communicate findings to our Sales team, Supervisors and warehouse personnel.

Tools Knowledge:

Being familiar with precision measuring instruments and electronic inspection equipment.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints and specification.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous observation skills to identify defects, flaws and missing information in material.
