Manager, Field Safety

Job Purpose To lead a team of Field Safety professionals in the electric energy focus across the state of New York. This role is responsible for the compliance and continuous improvement of safety and health regulations and policies that shape our safety culture, reduce injuries, and increase employee engagement. This role will provide technical support and subject matter expertise to the various lines of business and operating groups in their pursuit of safety excellence and ongoing growth of a business-wide safety culture. You will provide leadership and ongoing coaching and mentoring to a team of EHS professionals in their support of various lines of business. Key Accountabilities Team leadership - provides coaching and direction to a team of safety professionals driving team member engagement and retention. Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate business risk to regulatory compliance, corrective action trends, incidents and assurance results and prescribes the necessary preventative or corrective measures using the hierarchy of controls. Act as subject matter expert in regulatory compliance. Provide team support for second level assurance reviews of risk controls. #J-18808-Ljbffr National Grid
