Join SourceNow as a Textile Yarn Twisting & Doubling Machine Technician
Location: Hickory / Longview, NC
Compensation: $16.50 – $17.50 per hour
Shifts: Multiple 8-hour shifts available
A day in your roleYou arrive at our Hickory/Longview facility, gear up with PPE, and step onto a clean, organized production floor. You bring spinning frames up to speed, oversee twisting and doubling operations, and keep a close eye on product quality. Throughout the shift you support changeovers, complete visual checks, and keep your area tidy so the next teammate can start strong. Safety and reliability guide every move you make.
What you will do- Run and monitor yarn manufacturing equipment, including spinning, twisting, and doubling machines
- Inspect output and verify it meets defined quality standards
- Assist with machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and audit-ready
- Motivation to learn; we provide paid training (prior manufacturing experience is a plus)
- Background with twisting/doubling is preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the full shift
- Consistent attendance and strong reliability
