About the Role
The Manager of Philanthropy Services is a strategic leader who partners closely with frontline fundraisers and institutional stakeholders to deliver exceptional donor experiences across the full donor lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategy, communications, and stewardship efforts that directly support Loyola Medicine’s mission and long‑term philanthropic impact.
Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Lead and manage development processes, including pipeline development, donor strategy, and stewardship.
- Partner with frontline fundraisers to develop and advance donor strategies.
- Strategic Writing & Communications
- Draft proposals, briefing materials, stewardship reports, and tailored donor acknowledgements.
- Support internal and external communications that highlight philanthropic impact and strengthen a culture of philanthropy.
- Donor & Team Support
- Collaborate daily with gift officers, the VP of Philanthropy, and cross‑functional philanthropy teams.
- Coordinate donor materials, gift packages, stewardship schedules, and related reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered
- 3–5 years of experience in development/philanthropy or marketing/communications within a complex organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines from concept through delivery

Pay range and compensation package
Pay Range: $75,129.60 - $120,224.00 annually. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles. Trinity Health Benefits Summary
