The facility employs more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. It is fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility has a total of 167 beds. It operates as a Level III Trauma Center. All clinical staff must undergo state-specific checks prior to assignment. The unit has a designated area for orthopedic, postoperative, and medical-surgical care. The ratio of patients to nurses is typically between 4-6 to 1. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech. The patient population includes geriatrics, adults, and adolescents aged 13 and older. Common diagnoses and treatments include postoperative joint care, bariatric surgery recovery, gastrointestinal postoperative care, and trauma patient management. Qualified candidates should possess good assessment skills. Candidates are expected to be hardworking, willing to ask questions when in doubt, and demonstrate kindness and compassion in their care. The dress code consists of scrubs of any color; hospital logos must be present on T-shirts. Acrylic nails are not permitted.
