What You'll Do

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures following physicians' orders and departmental standards.
• Evaluate patient responses to respiratory therapy and make necessary adjustments.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and departmental guidelines.

What You Need

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
• BLS certification
• Prior experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting

• Experience with advanced respiratory procedures and patient education
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
