Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with curiosity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach. This is a hybrid role working 3 days on-site per week in Bend, Oregon.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including consolidations, eliminations, financial statement preparation, and analytical review.
- Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex transactions, with an emphasis on lease accounting, business combinations, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare complex reconciliations, journal entries, supporting schedules, financial reports, and related accounting documentation.
- Support external audits, including preparation of workpapers, financial statement disclosures, footnotes, and responses to auditor requests.
- Partner across the business on accounting initiatives, process improvements, ERP enhancements, and implementation of new accounting standards.
Senior Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 805 business combinations; familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition is also desired.
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred, with public accounting experience highly valued.
- Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, reconciliations, and audit support within a structured accounting environment. xhyhwjd
- Proficiency with ERP and financial reporting systems; NetSuite and Oracle EPM experience are preferred, along with solid Excel skills.
