Hospice Registered Nurse Preceptor

Role Overview Combine compassionate hospice nursing with mentorship to develop future clinicians. As a Hospice Nurse Preceptor, you will provide expert end-of-life care to patients and families, while serving as a trusted educator and clinical resource for nursing staff. Your responsibilities include managing patient caseloads, coordinating personalized care, and building strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. You will guide new clinicians through orientation, offer ongoing coaching, and promote best practices to ensure high-quality care and clinical excellence. Collaborating with leadership and education teams, you'll foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospice or home health care Strong nursing skills, excellent communication, and ability to handle multiple priorities Leadership qualities for training and mentoring clinicians Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Additional Information Ideal for experienced hospice RNs passionate about mentorship and clinical growth Location: Jackson, MI, with travel within the service area Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay Range: $75,000—$88,000 USD Benefits & Perks Paid time off, health insurance, retirement plan with employer match Mileage reimbursement, company vehicle program, pet insurance Additional wellness and security benefits Employment is contingent upon successful background screening.
