Nursing Position - Operating Room RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour shifts, 3 days a week; Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with weekend and holiday call rotations as needed.
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical nursing care in a busy operating room setting. The RN will work collaboratively with the surgical team, ensuring a safe and efficient patient experience during surgeries.
Coordinates care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Participates in all phases of surgical procedures, providing nursing care and ensuring patient safety.
Acts as a scrub nurse when necessary, passing instruments and assisting the surgical team.
Responsible for patient assessments, education, and supporting surgical protocols.
Participates in on-call rotations as scheduled, including nights and weekends.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Operating Room RN.
2-3 previous travel assignments are required.
Experience in orthopedics and robotics (Da Vinci) is necessary.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
Must have experience with all specialties for evening/night shifts.
