Senior Test Engineer - Electronics

Job Description

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Senior Test Engineer search in the Youngstown, OH area.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates relocating from outside the area.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Test digital and mixed-signal PCB assemblies, including embedded firmware and software validation for control products.
\n
• design, develop, and maintain test hardware and software for new and existing products.
\n
• Partner with Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to investigate internal and external defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
\n
• Collaborate with Design Engineering during new-product development to translate test specifications into manufacturing test hardware and software.
\n
• Assess existing test systems and identify opportunities to improve performance, functionality, and efficiency.
\n
• Develop test-automation software using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, and C/C++ for hardware-in-the-loop and functional test systems.

Requirements:

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
\n
• Experience in electronics test engineering
\n
• Proficiency with quality control applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
\n
