La Esperanza Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher who is fluent in Spanish and English. The Lead Teacher will create and implement engaging lesson plans, guide assistant teachers, and foster a positive, structured learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, culturally responsive, and committed to supporting the development of bilingual learners. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging lesson plans Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and language development Promote Spanish language development in the classroom Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom floaters Maintain positive communication with families Observe and document children’s development and progress Maintain a clean, organized classroom and learning environment Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including all state licensing and accrediting organization regulations Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Minimum 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Strong classroom management and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass background check and meet licensing requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience working with diverse families and communities Strong teamwork and leadership skills Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or currently working towards #J-18808-Ljbffr Evolving Solution Services
