Our employee-owned, multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Professional Mechanical Engineer to join our Rail group in Seattle!This isn’t just another engineering role, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Architecture professionals working on projects that keep the nation moving. From Class I and shortline railroads to commuter rail agencies, transit, municipalities, ports, and private developers, you’ll help design and deliver solutions that matter.What you’ll do:- Work on a variety of projects, from fueling facilities, loading/unloading systems, maintenance facilities, tank farms, pump houses, railyard operations, and more.- Develop plans, studies, and detailed designs for industrial mechanical systems and building systems. Proven experience designing mechanical system - including piping, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial processes.Solid understanding of construction documents, specifications, and industry standards.Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.Ability to manage project scope, budgets, and schedules effectively.$117,000 - $159,000 a yearThe listed salary range reflects base pay for candidates with 8-15 years of related experience. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
