Maintenance Electrician 3rd Shift Albion, IN Maintenance, Installation and Repair, Manufacturing Overview Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. This opportunity is for a Maintenance Electrician (3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM) at our Albion, IN manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical-related problems in accordance with standards of the electrical trade. Troubleshoot skills with the ability to repair and/or instruct others on necessary repairs with little to no supervision. Demonstrate the ability to perform all essential duties of Electrical Technician with strong Electrical, CNC, and Robotic experience. Understand and troubleshoot solid state devices and reprogram ladder logic; utilize software for troubleshooting and diagnostics. Troubleshoot and repair major problems with in-house equipment. Maintain flexibility to work overtime to support production needs. Maintain good attendance and follow all safety policies and procedures; contribute to a positive team environment. Capable of assuming control of the maintenance department in the absence of the supervisor or group leader. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Electrical, CNC, and Robotic systems; knowledge of basic electrical formulas applicable to the job. Ability to troubleshoot and repair in-house equipment and understanding of solid state devices.
