As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Washington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government courthouse location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $13.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Monitor access points and screen or direct visitors in accordance with courthouse policies, reporting prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
